Michael Rowland
Owner
My father, Steve Rowland, started RowMac Construction in 2005 with a focus on quality work and strong relationships. After graduating from Algonquin College in 2009, I joined him in the business and have been proud to carry that same standard forward ever since.
I work closely with clients to design and build spaces that fit their vision—whether it’s a new custom home, a complete renovation, or a high-end kitchen or bathroom. I’ve always believed in a “never say no” approach, finding solutions to challenges and delivering results that are both practical and beautiful.
Outside of work, I stay active in the community through my kids’ sports and by supporting local events such as the Russell Fair. I’m also an avid outdoorsman, which keeps me grounded and connected to the lifestyle so many of our clients value. For me, every project is about building strong relationships and creating homes where families can truly feel at home.

“Of the three quotations we got for our sun-room addition, Michael Rowland’s was the best design, with the best specifications and choice of materials, and for a good price.
Long before construction started, Michael got the permit, ordered all the custom materials (including windows, door, and cladding), and scheduled the electrician and eavestrougher. He ordered the tongue-and-groove cedar cladding and interior pine from a local mill early enough that it was milled and dry in time for installation. And instead of having to wait till spring to stain the cedar, Michael stained it in his shop before installing it.

Once construction began, he and his crew of two worked on our job exclusively until it was done (apart from the flooring, which was late in arriving from the supplier). Their work was of the highest quality—no short-cuts, no cut corners. The quality shows especially in the finishing details—perfectly fitted tongue-and-groove, custom window and door trim, and a custom 12-inch-wide ceiling ridge-plank.
